These terms apply to the Upshot Shopify app, operated by leoworks (“we”). By installing or using Upshot you agree to them. Your use of Shopify itself is governed by Shopify's own terms.

1. What Upshot does

Upshot reads your store's experiment, sales and change data to show results per experiment variant, keep a change log and add annotations to your Analytics charts. It doesn't create, edit, apply or end experiments.

2. Your data

Your store data stays yours. We handle it as described in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms and serves as our data processing commitment to you.

3. Results are estimates, not guarantees

Verdicts, probabilities, estimated figures and written judgments are statistical or automated estimates based on the data Shopify provides, which can be delayed or incomplete. Decisions about your store — including applying or ending an experiment, which can't be undone — are yours. Upshot is not financial or business advice.

4. Fees

Any fees are shown on the Shopify App Store listing and charged through Shopify's billing. Shopify's billing terms apply to charges and refunds.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Upshot to break the law or Shopify's terms, or try to access data of stores other than your own, interfere with the service, or reverse engineer it.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep Upshot available and accurate but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features; for changes that materially affect you, we will give notice in the app. You can stop using Upshot at any time by uninstalling it.

7. Liability

Upshot is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or decisions made using Upshot, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for Upshot in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use Upshot after a change means you accept it.
